New site funding announced
Communities Minister Andrew Stunell announced the successful bids for £60m of funding that will provide hundreds of new authorised pitches as well as better facilities for travellers on official sites.
Rooftop funding for new Gypsy and Traveller pitches
Rooftop Housing Group has been confirmed as one of the successful recipients of Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) funding for 33 housing associations, local authorities and other providers, to deliver around 600 new Gypsy and Traveller pitches. The announcement means Rooftop alone will be responsible for delivering 72 new units – 12% of the national total.

Bulgaria’s own “Romani Pearl” Sofi Marinova is competing to represent Bulgaria for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
Sofi who sang for the European Parliament on International Roma day is hoping her song Love Unlimited will crown her the first Romani winner of the competition.
Sofi is relying on you helping her get through to the finals by voting for her on the 24th May after the live show has aired.
