The NATT+ Executive wish all our members a healthy, peaceful, and happy Christmas.
To start you off I thought I would make you end the term with laughter.

Gypsy Roma Traveller pupils atending school.....

The process of admitting and enabling GRT pupils to stay in schools is becoming more difficult in the present economic climate of reducing budgets.

Pupil Premium and Fair Access protocols do not look likely to include this group of children and young people.

I'd welcome comments to find out what is happening across the country - cuts to Transport and Admissions are subsequently delaying our GRT pupil’s entry to school.

Optimistic for a Better Year

Welcome back from what I hope has been a relaxing and enjoyable summer break.

Last year was a difficult year in Gypsy, Roma and Traveller education up and down the country seeing many TESs reduced or disappear.

The impact on access, attainment and life long opportunities for our client groups could be damaged by these cuts. NATT+ is actively involved in confronting this by working closely with the Department of Education....Read more »

History Month Celebrations

Linda Lewins and myself will be writing a blog each month to inform you of the latest information regarding Gyspy, Roma and Travellers educationally and the ongoing work of NATT+.
