Budapest Visit 2012

Following on from the successful trip to Hungary last year, there will be another trip to Budapest in 2012 to gain a greater undertsanding of the wider European Roma perspective. Highlights will include visits to a range of schools with Roma pupils, a meeting with the Roma Education Fund based in Budapest and a Roma Conference at the University of Corvinus.

You must be a fully paid up NATT+ member to come of course!

Objectives: Visits to a variety of schools with Roma pupils (good,average and poor practice)

  • Visit to a special school (if possible - TBC)
  • Meeting with Roma Education Fund
  • Meeting and networking with NGOs
  • Roma Conference at the Corvinus University in Budapest

Outcomes: set up links with NATT+ and schools/organisations in Europe to share/support good practice regarding Roma issues and raise awareness of continuing appaulling levels of discrimination.
