The Education Conference for Circus Parents and ELOs - 2012

This year's conference took place at the Paragon Hotel in Birmingham Sunday, 29th January, 2012.

Anthea Wormington opened the meeting on behalf of NATT+ and the day included information and demonstrations as follows:

Linda Lewins, President of NATT+ gave an update on current issues
Liz Haines, NATT+ demonstrated the updated NATT+ website
Lucy Beckett- explained the functions of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller, All Party Parliamentary Group
Paul Wright demonstrated how to use the internet to continue pupils’ learning outside of school without the need for a base-school
Karen Mackay explained the function of On-line Virtual Schools
Angela Overington DfE outlined the current political agenda
Ezmi Mulhearn told the audience that: “It Can Be Done!”- relating her own success story
