Village Hotel, Leeds 6-7 March 2011

The NATT+ conference "Leading the Way" successfully took place on the 6th and 7th March. A intense day saw great presentations and workshops, good debate as well as important networking and catching up with old friends. Those that were able to take up the residency option were able to attend the resources fair on Sunday afternoon and enjoy a meal in the evening with a live Roma band, raffle and speeches.

The resources fair featured many new and existing educational items for sale. The latest, and expanded version of the NATT+ resources catalogue was also available for the first time.

Members can download the conference PowerPoint Presentations from the Members' Area.

Minister of State for Schools, Nick Gibb wrote to say that he was unable to attend the conference in person due to diary pressures, but he provided a short pre-recorded address that delegates were shown on the day. However, Andrea Smith and Angela Overington from the department were in attendance.

The workshops were insightful and valuable. Materials including Margaret Wood's draft training resources: Pestalozzi Core Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes for all Teachers can be downloaded below.
