Gypsy Life, Gypsy Tears

Gypsy life, Gypsy tears? from Andras Schram on Vimeo.

Andras Schram shot these images in Transilvania while visiting Romania. He comments "This is a Gypsy Colony, the poorest of the poorest, they have NOTHING and I mean nothing. In fact they live from day to day, they may have something to eat in the evening but the next day ... breakfast is a luxury. No electricity, thus no heating in the winter, no fresh water, no sanitation, no roof on most of the houses. YET...I have never in my life seen kids so happy and full of life. Have you seen your kids smile like this even when they have not eaten for days."
