NATT+ sent a joint letter with the Association of Circus Proprietors (ACP) to the Secretary of State for Education, Justine Greening and the Schools Minister, Nick Gibb, amongst other politicians.
The letter highlighted the serious concerns surrounding access to school places for mobile children from the circus communities. Due to a number of factors including the admissions process and the demise of Traveller support services, these children are being denied a basic right to attend school.
